Tempest Dance Fusion Company’s mission is to provide dance opportunities for all to enjoy the benefits in health, wellbeing and personal growth and development that dance has to offer, in a safe, friendly, positive and fun environment.

The Club is committed to ensuring that equity is incorporated across all aspects of its development. In doing so it acknowledges and adopts the following definition of sports equity:

Sports equity is about fairness in sport, equality of access, recognising inequalities and taking steps to address them. It is about changing the culture and structure of sport to ensure it becomes equally accessible to everyone in society."

The Club respects the rights, dignity and worth of every person and will treat everyone equally within the context of providing cheerleading services, regardless of age, ability, gender, race, ethnicity, religious belief, sexuality or social/economic status.

The Club is committed to everyone having the right to enjoy cheerleading in an environment free from threat of intimidation, harassment and abuse.

All Tempest Dance Fusion Company members have a responsibility to oppose discriminatory behavior and promote equality of opportunity.

The Club will deal with any incidence of discriminatory behavior seriously, according to club disciplinary procedures.

Our Dance styles

Commercial

Commercial dance style is a dynamic and versatile form of dance that blends elements of various genres including jazz, hip-hop, and contemporary dance.

Contemporary

Contemporary dance is a fluid and expressive art form that emerged in the early 20th century as a response to the rigid structures of classical ballet.

Jazz

Jazz dance is a vibrant and dynamic form of movement that originated alongside jazz music in the early 20th century. 

Latin style

Latin dance style encompasses a rich tapestry of vibrant and rhythmic dances originating from Latin America and the Caribbean.

Street

Street dance, also known as urban dance or hip-hop dance, emerged from inner-city communities in the United States during the 1970s.
